I believe in design as a tool of understanding, expression and communication of society, its context and culture; which has inspired my work as a product designer. The relationship between societies and their environment leads me to questions, from which I look for answers through objects.

I am interested in the work in different contexts and levels; concept, development and production, industry and crafts, small studios and corporations; I maintain an open position on the nature of the projects to develop in my individual practice of product design.
My work as a designer is based on the experience with crafts and semi-industrial products, from small workshops up to big producers, natural materials extracted by manual means or product of an industrial transformation.
I have curiosity and concern about how design penetrates society, its economy and its direction towards new futures.

My experiences in my daily and professional life have given me as a result a series of concepts and values that direct my work. Simplicity, appreciation for nature, empathy, sustainability, science and cultural value are some of the concepts that I keep rediscovering and at the same time are constantly nourished.
